People are governed by emotions, and more the number of serials that kindle your negative emotions, the more divided and corrupted the society is - prevents you from thinking broader and deeper. This is what the advertising companies and finally the politicians want from us to 'govern' us. I've even stopped watching news channels when they tarnished the image of the poor Arushi. They were so intent in damaging the girl's image citing some 'relationship' with her servant, than tracing the murderer.
